I almost sold them a couple of times to my friend without waiting to see them bloom for the first time, but then I figured that, since I waited this long, I might as well wait a little longer. I've heard of one guy waiting 20 years for a seedling to bloom! The nubs are frustrating. It's good to sow seeds every year so that you have a chance to see some new blooms each passing year (about three to five years later). I had one or two seedlings bloom last summer, but they were duds. They'll end up being root stock for something else eventually. Your Marble is great. Mine got an inflo this past winter but fell off due to the cool conditions. |
