You had bright light, a shutter speed of 1/640 of a second, and a tripod. That combination provided you with a nice clear photo. This morning I saw two deer (buck) in my backyard. I quickly grabbed my camera and took a few shots at 1/500 sec. (Manual Mode). I checked them and they were all dark. I quickly turned the mode to Automatic and shot quite a few more in the "burst" mode. It was early morning with a dark background and the shutter speed was at 1/50 of a second. However, shooting in the burst mode provided me with some blurry photos, and a few "okay" photos. And, I was hand-holding at 500mm. If you have the burst mode, that helps also. Anyway, here's a photo of a 'Prairie Warbler'. I've taken a lot of photos of this warbler, this year, in comparison to past years. |
