Holly, What a nice piece of sculpture to enjoy from your patio! Wouldn't be surprised to find a nest of snakes living coiled around the undercarriage. It's not all that unusual to find old cars and trucks left to rust like that out in the country. My neighbors tell me that at one time there were several old cars left rotting in the thickets that are now my two hugh beds. That explains the two spots where nothing will grow. At one time there was something gelatinous oozing out of the ground in one of the spots. Older people around here just can't accept that suburbia has sprung up all around them.

I'm thrilled that your DIL can use JR's truck as a planter. It should look great among his other toys! My "objects" are very eclectic mixing antique, classic, contemporary, funky retro and just plain silly. Sort of like me!
