This is my Queen Crepe Myrtle tree in my front yard. The frost destroyed the beautiful growth I had established on the top. A few branches still survived on the top, but look at this bottom growth! I have cut these growths off repeatedly and the branches still keep coming out at the bottom of this plant. Maybe I need to reconsider it as a bush instead of training as a standard tree form. :-/
