The mutant (dragon claw) are a weird vine. I have grown them too and my opinion of them is still on the fence. I am not sure if I really like them or not. The blooms are sweet though and it is an interesting species of MG.

I had a very large vine with what looked like a strain of the dragon leaf gene it it. Smaller blue flowers with white throats. It has bloomed profusely for me. But it might have been a cross and that is why it grew so huge. The name was "Kawaru" on the seed baggie. It had those curled leave tips, but not as curly as the dragon claw. In this photo you can see on the solid green leaves the curling effect. The blue blooms are from that vine also. The lighter variegated leaves belong to a different vine.
