I got an early Anniversary present (40 yrs. on Sunday)....mom got us a 125 gallon hard shell pond liner and a filter!! It will replace the wooden box pond out front ( is getting a bit worn out, may try and salvage it for the back yard)....it is deep enough that we should be able to put a few fish in it once it is all together.....got the lava rock cleared and the sand bed put down....tomorrow is the fun part, potting up all the sedum that are in the rocks around the old pond and moving all the rock to surround the new pond. Laura and Sage are coming over after school (last day!!) to help out. Have a lot of plans for the old pond area...just need to come up with the finances to carry it out! Guess I will make up fliers to see about getting us some more yard work...
