Jmp, I only had one leaf set covered, the only mini from my first leaf batch. That one also suffered 2 leaves loss, now there's only one left. I think I was so worried that I will not be able to provide enough air humidity, that I made the wrong choice - placing them too close to a water source.

This is kinda how it looks. Should I remove the Momma-leaf in this particular case? The earlings are very small, but my worry is if the thing happening to the Momma can extend to the little plantlet.

I understand your technique, and that's what I'll do with the new ones when they arrive (probably Wednesday!). I have small cups (probably 1oz) ready and waiting.
