We almost did not settle here as four years ago we mortgaged our house elsewhere in Nova Scotia and bought a house in Grand Forks, BC. DonM47 may know the location.It was on Jasper Avenue near the airport.
Anyway when time came to retire we decided we wanted to stay in Nova Scotia after all. As we were retiring I was not limited by having to find employment so we looked for best climate, scenery, price, and quiet and ended up here in Granville Beach. Within a few km we have wilderness trails on the rocky Fundy shore and dikes to hike along the Annapolis River. There is a world class botanical garden, several national historic sites, a wildlife park, golf, theater, shopping, and even an amusement park, A little further away is a huge national park for canoeing etc.

Today the sun came out, it was 23 deg, and the boys got to see the Historic Gardens.
