crockny, wonderful beds and mix of color and leaf combinations. Love the pale iris with the dark purple leaf Heuchera. It is so satisfying to do the work yourself. We hire a guy to mow, but all the real work is done by my DH and me. But I was blessed to have a friend visit this week who loves to use a chain saw and is tall, so he has been trimming lots of trees for us. DH was not happy to help me dig the new bed this spring. But now he likes it a lot.

I took some photo's from the second floor yesterday. Here is a view looking south toward that new Japanese Maple Bed with Nellie who had just dug a huge hole in that bed. grrrrrrrrrrrrr. She must not have liked the prostrate potentilla that I had just planted in her spot Patti
