okijaner is there any way you can get 6" pots, I like this better since I just soak it really good once and let drain before I plant my seeds, I use a commercial sterile seed starter potting mix. After I have the pot ready I place the seed on top of the soil evenly placed where they will be planted, then I get something two mark were the seeds are before I plant them so I know were exactly were they are. after I've done this I make a little hole where I had previously mark about 1/4" deep, I then place the ( I don't cut the seeds because they tend to rot rather then germinate and I don't see the difference in germinating time with both methods ), like I said, I place the seed with the pointy side down in the hole and verily cover them lightly. When I'm finish planting all the seeds, I gently mist the pot again and place them it a very bright ( not sunny ) area without covering the pot. remember not to water them the anymore unless necessary, remember if the surface dries out a little, you just mist it a little bit to keep the top a little moist not soggy wet or the seeds will rot. My seed usually start to sprout out in 1 or 2 weeks, some seeds take a little longer, if after a month you don't see anything they probably rotted and won't germinate. Hope this help you and good luck, if you need anymore help just ask.
