The number of daylilies to send each week is three, this is open to discussion. Everyone who enters the swap will get daylilies that they don’t already have. We will sign up first and find out how many want to participate. Whatever the number is, I will put the names all in a drawing and each week I will draw a name. I will go last. Everyone must send three daylilies to that person. They will only cost $4.75 to ship them. Imagine if 12 participate each person will get a total of 36 new daylilies. To be sure each person gets daylilies that they don’t have, each person should post a photo of the three that they plan to send. If the recipient says she doesn’t have any of them then those are the ones to send. They can be noids or named or whatever you have to trade. The only thing we would want to be certain of is that you post your offering before sending to be sure that the recipient doesn’t have those three already. The beauty of it all is that we would only be spending $4.75 a week for however many weeks we have participants. i.e. 10 people = 10 weeks of sending out three daylilies. Remember though that if you participate you will be sending the same number of daylilies that you receive. In the event that you don’t have any daylilies that the recipient of the week doesn’t already have, then the recipient will have to chose to accept three of your available daylilies. It might be that the recipient would prefer three of one that you are offering if you have them available instead of three different ones. From the photos in the daylily blooms for May forum, it seems that we all have a lot of different daylilies. Please don’t participate if you have had any problems with rust that have not been completely resolved. Please only send a daylily equal to what you would hope to receive. No tiny new seedlings unless the recipient agrees that is what she wants. Treat your recipients as you want to be treated. |
