My mail carrier just brought me a baby hummingbird.. must have been blown out of a nest by the rain last night. It was cold, wet and very still. I immediately brought it in and started warming it with indirect warm air from my hair dryer.. it immediately spread its wings and a few minutes started chirping.. I now have it mostly dry and it is constantly chirping and looking around. I want to find my carrier and find out exactly where she found it to see if MAYBE I can find the nest and put it back.. would that work.. in the mean time.. how do I help this little guy. It does have lots of feathers.
