By the way, sunny, Mama would get off the nest if it was too hot. She would also be able to fan it with her wings, like bees do to cool the hive. I've never seen an egg baked in the (Chicken) nest. The Mama's just know. So don't worry. (Chickens aren't smart about a lot of things, but they are downright canny when it comes to the care of their clutches.)
