Then we had a couple of days where I couldn't spend a lot of time in the garden so I never got around to trying the hand pollination. Yesterday I went out to the garden and have 2 zukes that are more than 8 inches long, 2 melons, 1 pumpkin and a watermelon, all growing like crazy!!! Woohoo. I guess gardening teaches patience, nature will usually take it's course when given the chance. Here's a pic of the pumpkin baby from yesterday - today he's more than three times that size.
