Jen, I have sprayed that area repeatedly. Only they never plant anything there, so stronger & stronger weeds keep moving in. I've been seriously considering putting grass seed down over there. It was a nice forsythia hedge until 3 years ago when he moved in. He ripped it out, correction cut it down to put up a post & rail fence. No fence ever showed up and he leaves it fallow and never weed whacks.

Meredith, one year I made the mistake of broadcasting Miracle Grow organic plant food in my beds. They became full of 24" tall dandelions!! Took days of digging to get them out and I still have a problem with them in the beds.
