Been a long time since I kept up with this forum. Worked my way from March to the current thread. Many of my plants are just starting to recover from the big freeze we had here. Most plumies are dead but some are bringing new shoots up at their base. The pudica seem to be the best survivors as almost all of them show some sign of life. The young trees I had planted last fall are also shooting up from the root systems but a few are simply dead as a doornail. The arecas which look totally dead may not be. I'll leave them be for now, same with the Adonidia merrillii. My ' dead' croton cuttings seem to be alive after all. They are remarkably tough. Anyway, I'm not giving up because of one horrible winter.

My DW is in a rehab center after surgery and there they have lots of nice plantings given in memorial of somebody or another. Of course, they have no name tags on them. As I'm looking to plant more tropical flowering trees, maybe somebody here can ID some of the pics.

Any ideas as to this one?
