As Stormyla said you don't have to have a lot to bring to the swap, there will be plenty of plants being passed around. Also you won't be the only new comer to the group, we have several new DG members coming and are looking forward to meeting you all. Perilla, has reddish-purple leaves with a bronze metallic sheen it's a member of the mint family and is grown for it's foliage. It's a pretty aggressive grower and self seeds. The finches love the seed heads in the fall. water pickerel, It's a pond plant with a purple flower. The wisteria, I've had it for years and really am not sure which one it is. Some of them are not as aggressive growers as others. Mine is pretty aggressive but considering how long I have had it I don't think it's doing too badly. I had been planing and hoping to have this up on a arbor (where it belongs) this spring before it bloomed. But that project was put on hold. So it is still sprawing out all over my driveway. |
