Gaak! Boy can you get behind when you are gone for a few days! Went back east to pick up my Mom (she had stayed at her vacation house to have some windows replaced) and dragged Lynn along with me this time. We had a glorious "girls day out" playing in the garden, walking through the neighborhoods to see what was growing/blooming, and yes Susy, picking tons and tons of lilacs to scent the car on the way home!

Redchic, I don't have a lot of before pics of our eastern gardens. The first couple of years we had minimal time to spend there, and most of that was spent trying to reclaim the yard (it had been untended for at least a year before we bought) and fishing. Of course I will have tons of after pics, as the gardens are finally under control and we spend more time enjoying than we do working! I don't mind at all the name change of the thread....it is a fun idea to change as the season progresses, but I am thinking that it's going to take a lot of brain power as I have the feeling when the world starts to really come into bloom, you will be changing threads quite frequently! Love your rain pics! Is that your view? It is gorgeous...even with the stormy weather!

Willow, Your gardens are certainly starting to show off their spring color! I can't wait to see Mindy's Love in her full glory! I also really like the planting with the red camelia and the shrubs below it (yes I grow them, and have had a brain fade and can't remember for the life of me what they are called!). It is a beautiful combination!

Beahive, your tulips and spring flowers made me drool as always! I espeically love Menton. I have seen it in bloom several times at VanLierops and have been very tempted to add it to my garden. Has it come back well for you? Your Big Mama certainly does seem like she is getting used to having her picture taken! Will be curious to see how much of a ham she turns into by the end of the season! Oh, and I think that your little yellow kid is a variety of wallflower. Love the pastel yellow color!

This is one of my favorite geraniums that made it's migration to the deck just before I left.
