The rhody is in shade all day in the corner of my courtyard. In the morning there's bright light, but no sun in her spot. JD, I was also sceptical that she would make it here, but I figured if she lived through Sacramento's heat (also in full shade), she would survive ours! And since she was a freebie from a friend, it was certainly worth taking a chance. She's kinda leggy, so as soon as she's done blooming it'll be time for a trim!
