I found him in a feed store, kept in an enclosure where anyone could pick him up and handle him (often improperly most likely) 12 hours a day, w/o any monitoring. I had a sense that although he wasn't technically homeless, I was rescuing him. He also prefers small spaces--he litterally panics if I remove him from his cage rather than let him exit on his own. He loves it when I rub his nose and cheeks--and he chins me, and anything I put in his cage. And when I work on my violets, he is always interested! When he is out of the cage, he checks in with me frequently--just making sure I'm still around. He is a sweetie! BTW--In the rabbit world, size does not always dictate dominence, although I'm sure Miss Sophie would always be top bunny at your house!
