I've already started the countdown. I spent 3 hours in 80 degrees of humidity this morning continuing my mulching and moving a few plants around. I made this extended "island", partly to keep the lawn guys from destroying the access point to our water lines. They always mow over it, and when we got here in Oct., it was completely open! So, I thought I'd accomplish a couple things at one time, and I created a new bed for my vinca seedings and extended the mulch around the cap so it is well protected from mowers now. The bottle brush/vinca plants were already there, so I just had to extend the bed. I also moved my Tibouchina to a place where it won't bake as much in the summer sun. I'm cutting it VERY close and I know it! LOL
