Albertarosy, I'm a couple days behind. Just as I was getting to my cold climate friends the other day, DD showed up for a suprise visit. Yesterday, as I was getting to them again, DH wanted to go to the cemetary and clean off his family gravesites. So, here I am now. How nice to have things growing already.

I store my dahlias in the house in a chilly closet, but I lose one or two tubers a year. They are just layered in a wooden flat with slatted sides. I wish I could have a basement where I could take care of things better. The tiny closet is blocked most of the winter and, out of sight, out of mind.

Ladylike is very pretty. I love the two colors together.
