Billy, it looks like you are heavy into gardening. I'm jealous of all your space. It looks like you are a very busy girl in the summer! I like the idea of the columnar evergreens, at present I have a patio space made of 24" x 30" patio slabs and under the tarps is a shed waiting to be assembled in the spring. I could lift one of the slabs and plant a tree there. Worthy of some thought! Ya, a fence might help hide the truck and give you more privacy but I love the idea of a living fence too.
Chocolate (i love you just for your name's sake) How is it that you can plant out the first week in June being in zone 1a and I'm in zone 3b and wouldn't dream of planting any sooner than you??? Is there a trick to growing and storing dahlias? I grew some in Ontario (zone 5b) and they didn't make it when I stored them. Don't know what I did wrong. Ya think I have enough lilies on order?? Love em, love em, love em. I got them all over Canada, can send you a list of places if you like.
