My mother had a new house built and I was planning on getting rid of a bunch but she asked me to plant something pretty for her. I showed her what I had in mind and she wanted them all (LOL) I guess it shows addiction is inherited as well!!! I am only going to plant mature bushes at least 2 years and older nothing grafted. It ought to be fun. I can picture it now. She will be asking me to dig them up before long because she likes her privacy. Not much of a shrub to maintain any kind of privacy. (LOL) Blooms are too pretty!!! All of the plants going in the ground survived the winter extremely well. Some are coming from dormancy but they are full, well branched and will be pretty in no time. Hopefully the frosts and cold weather is about over. How are yours looking now? Robert Also, here is a new dupont seedling under evaluation. Has 8 to 9" bloom once she opens and the bush is a beauty. |
