Snapple that is a great picture!

So sorry that you're dealing with all those horrible problems. We had a leaky toilet that leaked into our kitchen ceiling and caused a lot of damage. Luckily, we were able to cover most of the costs between insurance and suing the former owner of the house (he concealed the damage). Water problems are just the worst!!!

Tet and Carolyn, I love your cat pictures! Personally, I'm not a huge cat person, but I think that is because my hubby's two cats are just terrors. NOT nice cats. Given the chance, they pee on everything that is porous. They live in the basement because the marking was too much to take. One runs for a dog bed every chance she (yes, she) gets. The other, a large male Ragdoll, has taken to trying to assault our poor Penny the corgi. Penny likes to follow me into the basement when I work on the baby koi pond or do laundry. Chili, the Ragdoll, who weighs only about 4 pounds less than Penny and is taller than her, has taken to chasing and swatting at her. I've intervened every time but he does have claws and I'm afraid of Penny getting hurt so I am very cautious. I don't know if Chili is just getting territorial or is jealous because he wants my attention or what is going on. The cats are now on a rationed diet, they are both like sumo wrestler sized - they have an automatic feeder that dispenses three times a day. I think it has made them both rather bitter, they were used to unlimited rations until just a few weeks ago.

Here is Lucy, my blue & gold macaw, out on her playpen a few weeks ago. The parrots have their own room, but I like to wheel Lucy out of there on her playpen for family time so she is not so territorial around her cage - we call it "forced socialization!"
