I moved my new pigeons to my shed yesterday and put them in the brooder cage my DH gave me. They had become kind of nervous being in the large bird cage i could tell they craved more room. They looked kind of lost yesterday when i put them in and i made sure they had their love nest. They had been mating and taking turns making it just so and she would sit on it but get off and he would sit.

Well this morning i went down for the morning feeding and she was on the nest i thought when is there going to be a egg.
I opened the cage to give them seed and she did the lying flat on the nest thing pigeons do when they have a egg. So i gently reached under and there it was a "sweet little egg" it was smaller than my other pigeons eggs.
So excited and hoping it's fertile and will hatch and yes there will be pics!!
