Ms Chantell, I thought you didn't like citrus scent?? I remember you had asked about me Mock Lemon (Aglaia odorata) once. If you want a citrus scent thats it! It will do well indoors and out. Once it starts flowering it never seems to stop. It is by far one on my favorites. Back to the Meyer lemons, they are very fragrant! Mine has not set fruit for me yet but my mom has one that gets crazy with blooms and the fruits are large (like a navel orange size) with the best juice for cooking and lemonade of corse! As for its blooms mine comes in cycles a big bloom in spring and one in late summer and I just had a few blooms that got frosted off last week along with what I thought would be my first lemons. We also have grapefruit and navel orange trees through out the yard and they all smell wonderful. |
