Hi, I'm Rachel. I have three hens; Henrietta, Harriet and Chicken Little and one rooster, Roosty. I raised them in my heated greenhouse. I got them as chicks back in October (I know the worst time to raise chicks!) They are all feathered out and have been coming out during the day for the past week and a half. I made them a makeshift coop yesterday but they did not want to go in it. I put nesting boxes, a perch, and thier food and water in it. They decided to roost on the fence instead so we ended up picking them off the fence and putting them back in the greenhouse for the night. Any ideas on how I can convince them to go into thier new home to roost at night? Here are a few photos. This one is of Henrietta (red,black,green, multi) and Roosty (grey)
