One giant tree in Peter's Canyon was so full of them you could hear them yapping at each other before you even saw the tree. They were also HUGE! Everything is supposed to be bigger in Texas but those CA hummers were giants compared to ours. Ours are barely bigger than a bug. Of course, we have very big bugs here!

Anyway, despite the quantity and size, I didn't get any good pics, but hoped y'all could help ID anyway. I think this one is a Black-chinned even though his chin is way blacker than any of the pics I have of a Black-chinned.
