Here's my 2nd year amaryllis. It looks funny because it has no leaves/fronds/whatever-you-call-them. I had the pot outside all summer and fall and the leaves died in fall. I didn't think the plant had survived, but brought it in anyway and, behold! It missed Christmas by three days.
