crazy_gardener wrote: Sorry, no photos yet, I just ordered the THUNDER LIGHTING (Parkland Perennials) last spring, so it has not bloomed nor do I know yet if it will survive outdoors in my garden. I'm hoping it will be ok since I covered it with dry straw late fall and so far we have lots of snow coverage. I do have one that I bought on clearance really cheap at No Frills a couple of years ago, I grow it in a container and store it in the cold room during the winter. I also managed to find late September a sales clearance Iris ensata 'Variegata' at Wickams for like $3 that I'm storing too in the cold room till I get it planted out next spring. Really easy to water in containers. Iris ensata ROYAL BANNER |
