svplantingfool wrote: Chantell, Mine is blooming right now and I'll add my 2 cents. The flowers are absolutely adorable, so pretty and waxy looking, and since they have orange in them, I love them! The scent, to me, is candy sweet, reminds me a little bit of Night blooming Jasmine. I don't find that the scent carries at all, I really have to put the tip of the branch up to my face to smell them, which may be good, since the smell is really intoxicating when the flowers are right there at your sniffer. I tried over the summer to root some cuttings, but had no luck at all. Has anyone else had success? PF says semi-hardwood cuttings, maybe mine were too green. I'm not really happy with where I planted mine, I was told it was more of a bush, but I think down here, it will grow into a small tree easily. Oh well. Cathy |
