Imagine my surprise to come home today (boss let us off early, too) and see one on the porterweed! It got scared and flew up in the oak tree, but I waited a few minutes and it came back. This my first time seeing one in my yard, or Florida, for that matter. Between this and seeing the Red Spotted-Purple last week, it makes me wonder what kind of butterfly season we're in for.
