The flowers last about a week, and before you know it, there she goes, sending off new flowers. My multiflora started to send off a side branch but is losing quite a few leaves on the bottom of the plant. It just stopped blooming, one or two peduncles at a time. It started to bloom in July. I haven't taken pictures of it since March when it was in bloom. I guess it's time for new pictures. Right now there are no flowers but the peduncles are starting again. I still can't figure out how to water this plant. I think I'm going to re-pot it in a heavier mix and cut it back some. It seem to dry out too fast. I think it could be the air-conditioning. We have it running most of the year. I'll post pictures of before and after, as soon as I get the nerve to do it. Here's my little darling obscura with her pretty red leaves. |
