Is today Christmas and someone forgot to tell me????? It's been a great day (other than having to retrieve run-away Woody twice). Had a good morning of review at the med center, a wonderful birthday lunch with my DD and aunt, did some quick shopping with DD, stopped at a quilt shop on the way home and signed up for a quilting class that will begin the first of the year, enjoyed a demonstration of two new machines (I'm asking Santa for the Husqvarna Viking topaz 30 sewing/embroidery machine), got home and checked the mail - now here's the real Christmas part - there were THREE packages for me! Whoo Hoo! Talk about hitting the jackpot!

One was from Juanita (rvnsbrk) with the recipe box swap in it. It is soooo cute! Included was a kitchen towel with an appliqued rooster and great recipes. Details on the recipe box swap thread. I love it, Juanita!

The second was from BJ with the fat quarter swap. Love the colors, BJ! Couldn't have picked any better myself. Now it will be a challenge to find 10 different ones to coordinate and look as nice. Thank you for doing this swap. I'll try not to take too long finding fabrics to send to you.

And the third was from Jaye. Imagine coming home from a quilt shop with ideas swirling in your head to find a quilting book in your mailbox! Jaye, you are such a sweetie to share your book. I'll be snuggled up under a warm blanket studying your book this evening for sure.
