I posted on another thread but someone at the RU encouraged me to repost some of my art. I was a professional artist for 20 yrs-most of that time, I was a custom tile muralist. This is paper and pastel. I work very large in pastel and small in watercolors. I haven't done anything since last summer. When I went to art school in the late 60's no one taught basic skills and I was very disappointed. I ended up dropping out after my junior year, feeling very much like a self-taught artist. I did learn etching and lithography. They were my favorites but I haven't done them since. I did some slab pottery dishes in the early 80's but didn't like the show circuit much. xnow I have a new career and all my creativity goes into working with adolescents!!
