Last Fall--I just dragged the whole pot in my basement and it lived there (happily??) for the Winter. I root-pruned it in the Spring and re-potted it and now.......I have NEVER thought it would now grow this HUGE!!!!! Originally---about 4 years ago----I bought it at a Farmer's Market in a 4" pot. Have to decide if I want to repeat the "dormancy" thing----or, maybe take stem-cuttings and root them???? It has lovely, fragrant blooms! They start out as creamy-white......then turn a deeper cream and then a slightly pale peach. Then--in the end--they turn a really nice shade of peach before they are DONE. All this in 3-4 days! This "THING" has grown into a massive bush! It has about 5 main trunks and is, finally, ready to bloom it's head off.....Dah!!!! It IS almost October!!!! |
