My elderly neighbor behind me heats with wood only. One day last week he asked me how I felt about the little woods across from house. I told him...in no uncertain term... that if I have my way it will stay the way it is for the birds and the deer and other wildlife. WE tried to buy it last year but got nowhere.

People don't get it that dead wood does serve a pupose.
