Gitagal wrote: I am going to jump in here as well--instead of starting a new Post..... I have a Peaches and Cream Brug that I carry over in my basement--in a dormant form--every year. I believe this Spring I root-pruned it and re-potted it in fresh potting mix adding lots of Dynamite plant food, kelp meal, etc.... It is now in it's big pot, which is 3/4 buried in a bed and it gets really bright AM sun until about 2PM. It has grown and grown--with huge leaves (see picture below) and appears VERY lush. There are about 6 main trunks and they have all "y"'ed long ago.... My other one has (Rose Souvelons) has had 2 rounds of blooms already. Oooops.....I just went out to look and i DO see flower buds! Yippie!!!! Still wondering--what took it so long???? Thanks, Gita |
