AHHH! To be 40 again! I always thought my life just "began" after I turned 40. Kids were older--I was still young--still playing Volleyball (seriously), but did retire from it at 42.

Now my girls are 40 and 43 and i am 71. Still feel young--still work (at HD)--still garden like crazy--I look OK! Try to keep healthy and in reasonable shape and all that.

I think all the jokes and cards and the "over the Hill" comments make people feel like life is almost "over" when they turn 40! NOT true...NOT true!!!! Like pastime said--it is ONLY a number!
Stay active--think young! You ARE still young!!!!!
