Often one wishes that they had been a tad closer when photographing a subject out in the field. And, nothing is much more exhilarating then to see an Osprey or an Eagle first identify their prey and then with a speed of light dive into the water, capturing this unsuspecting prey. I come across a few of these occasions but seldom achieve the desired results. That's what keeps me going back. Over the weekend, I witnessed one such occasion, but still a little too far way, hand-holding a 500mm lens.
