Grandpapa: The Cuban Oregano is not hardy here, no. I keep it as a hanging basket, in a sense, as it drapes over the the edge of the huge planter the schefflera is in.

I got the hibiscus a Majewski's for $9.99 (5? gallon shrub pot) .... they probably still have some, maybe even cheaper. Go on Wednesday and everything is an additional 10% off.
