Yes. Those first I got from a botanical garden of Guadalajara germinated with 1 out of 250 + seeds within 3 months. In 1993 (or -4 ... I have to look that up in my book) I pretreated with 500 ppm and 1.000 and 2.000 ppm GA-3 and had 100 % germination in 48 hours (treatment was 24 hours in closed ziplock baggies wrapped in papertowels moistened with GA-3 by room temperature). The 2.000 ppm solution caused the seedlings to elongate too much and 5.00 ppm was the best solution. It was mom that discovereed that they germinated in large numbers when left outside during the winter. I gave her some of the GA treated plants and she forgot to harvest the seeds, but the next spring the pot was filled with excess of seedlings Thanks Mom! :) When will you be back again ... in case you want a seedling? *lol* Here it the flower :)
