I got a white, yellow, and pink brug from mail order - one of the cheepies, I think they cost 7 dollars for the 3 starts. So, no, I have no name for them. \ I have several crosses that I planted from seed that are starting the Y thing. I am very excited. We are going on a vacation starting next Tuesday, up into Canada and around the upper western US. I am very excited. My son will be in charge of the watering. I will pay him for his time, a little before I go and the rest if they are alive when I get home. I haven't had trouble with aphids since I took the plants out of the house and the garage. I put some rose systemic on them in early spring and have been blessed since. I know I am crazy, like many of the hotties, and can't keep my brugs out in the winter, I am going to make an area in the garage with shop lights and a heater to keep the temp > freezing, hopefully this will keep them alive. I am hoping for a greenhouse in the fall of 2009. Linda, The plant in the post8033 look like the leaves on my 4 O'Clocks, mine haven't bloomed yet, but the leaves look very similar, except mine have a glossy look. Thought I would post a picture of my FIL's cat. It isn't a really clear picture because she is really lovin' on the plaster dog. Enjoy the day all you hotties. It is getting warm around here. Mid 90's today. Soon I will be at work in the boring air conditioning, with no plants around me. Oh well. I can't have everything. Marie |
