I still have one species that may live- moved it outside of the irrigation and the rain has let up....for now. Anyway, I'll know better next time if I want to try again with seeds and will put them in a different soil mix from seeds on. Any one particular species better than another??? Robbcorreia.....something you were saying about a habit? Ever notice how many of our fragrant plants are also toxic??? I swear, sometimes when I have my nose up a Brug I can smell something......in"toxic"ating......like that little element that makes it so good and yet so bad is distinguishable through scent. Here is my picture of the day from the tropical co-op several months back. Don't know much about this plant. The "white bloom" is really modified leaves like a poinsiettia, etc. There is a little true flower just today. It is so far very faintly fragrant- kind of fruity and very light. Pretty "flower" though. |
