Well, this has been one heck of a week. Grandma, daughter and I were all supposed to drive up to UC Davis (Nor Cal) for DD's freshman orientation. But my mom never made it and ended up in the hospital after falling unconscious on the floor at El Pollo Loco. She didn't even get to order her food :-(

She seems to be on the mend and is staying with me for a bit while we decided whether or not to attempt the trip next week. The only thing I did this week, besides stay at the hospital from morning till night, was take these early morning hibiscus pictures after I got up to water before leaving.

Enjoy! The blooms really brightened my week and mom was so glad to see them when I brought her here from the hospital :-)
