The first place we went was to the cemetery to put flowers on the graves of all my wife's kin. While she was doing that I was looking for bluebirds. I found a pair nesting in a home made box on a fence post and managed to get a few shots. She fed the nestlings from outside the opening, which usually means the nestlings are pretty far along and there is no room in there for her.

These West Virginia blues are a little rough around the edges, don't you think? Reminds me of a horse that's been rode hard and put away wet.
