I bought 1 big plant and separated it into single stalks and planted them around my stream, directly into the river rock. I am experimenting to see which ones make it so I can better learn where to best plant in the stream -- I have to turn off the water in the winter and have only planted in the deeper pools until now.

This is a picture of a couple of lobelia (one on each side of the stream) and the sweet flag I picked up this year on sale (w00t!).
