How exciting is THAT, nubs AND little rooties! And you were worried! lol Annie, I'm no specialist dr, but ANY way that works is the right way. LOL, Joyce, I've got a long cutting of Maya laying on it's side in the pot with Momma Maya. I also stuck some in vertically... I've done them both ways. I've also kept an aquarium air stone (with pump attached) in buckets of cuttings to keep them from rotting while rooting. They also root without the air stone. In winter, I never start over with fresh water, only add to it. Joyce I think the brugs I gave you the first time had sat in a bucket of "moss slurry" all summer outside my garage door, I'd forgotten about them almost ALL summer.. they had monster roots on them. Good ol Mother Nature provided enough water for them to survive. So, you can start them with or without water first, or just stick in some "dirt", water in and stand back. I'm finding it easier to root in Spring, but that's just me. I won't stop rooting in Fall, either, I'm passionate about em, remember? Clem, you are not a foreigner, you're home. You got roots (brug?), here too, Girl! You ARE the Hottie of the week, Hon, (we all agree, right?). We're ALL waiting for the bloom announcement... If I have time, I'll try to figure out what day everyone chose... AND you have 2 others budded up and ready too, don't you??? Audrey, so nice to see you, HOW do you get caught up??? lol It's painful when you're just starting brugging... You do want them ALL! Here's another pic of my buds, from a different angle...(helps to keep visually occupied while we wait for Sister Clem's bloom delivery.. lol) |
