I am trying to deal with the wreckage caused by thousands of pounds of roofing material being dropped around my house onto my flower beds and shrubs. Partly my fault for not protecting them better but it still makes me a bit queasy when I go out and survey the damage. The roofer said go down to the nursery and pick out a few hundred bucks in plants which is nice but some things that were damaged were not what you get at the local nursery. Trying to focus on all the beauty that remains in the garden today.
